Why I’m returning
to sales
The part of work I enjoy most is connecting with people.
I worked as a Sales Associate at Nike from 11 January 2023 to 3 April 2025. I loved the thrill of sales and the enjoyment of serving customers face to face. It was there that I realised sales was the right fit for me.
After Nike, I spent approximately one year working with Emphasis Studio and CineVision.ai at the same time, across graphic design, vibe coding and the wider media pipeline. That experience helped me understand what I wanted from my career.
I didn’t find the same enjoyment in media or AI work. Working from home, I missed the personal contact and hands-on nature of retail. I’m now looking to return to a customer-facing sales role, where I can do the work I genuinely enjoy.
